As I mentioned in my post about the top five trends for fall, blazers are back in a big way this season! The wardrobe staple is no longer just for business wear – it’s made a resurgence for casual weekend wear as well! I’ve always found pairing a blazer with a more casual look a bit intimidating in the past, fearing that it would make my look too formal or “stuffy”, but with the influx of menswear-inspired silhouettes available this year, my blazers are no longer such a scary piece to style in my wardrobe.
I’m absolutely loving pairing an oversized-fit blazer with a pair of denim and simple blouse or turtleneck, and then popping a skinny belt around the waist to cinch it in. The look is instantly stylish and chic, but is one of the easiest and most versatile combinations.
