Happy Friday! To celebrate the weekend’s arrival, I wanted to do a fun flashback to this time last week during our girl’s getaway weekend to Belmond Charleston Place in Charleston, South Carolina. If you’ve been following along on Instagram, the you’ve seen the overabundance of photos I been posting from our trip – Charleston is just too charming not to overshare! There’s a cute house, colorful blossoming tree, or perfect rod iron fence around every single corner.

This time last week we were checking into what I now refer to as heaven on earth – the Belmond Charleston Place – with Molly from Molly’s Musings, Shelby from Pretty in the Pines, and Holly from Make Today a HollyDay. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Charleston, I can’t recommend this place highly enough! From the moment we pulled up, the staff made us feel like royalty checking in (isn’t that how everyone wants to feel on their getaway vacation?). We were fortunate enough to have suites on the private Club Level floor – and what sweet suites they were!

Our room welcomed us with champagne and relaxing spa-like music playing the moment we walked in. There were cozy slippers and a robe awaiting me on the bed, just ready to slip into and cozy up in the down bedding – but not before heading up to our private lounge (up the spiraled staircase, pictured above) to grab an evening sweet treat and cordial. Climbing into the most comfortable bed in the world was heavenly after a day of traveling. Charleston Place certainly knows how to make a girl feel welcome!

Everything about the hotel is so elegant – from the Italian marble oversized bathrooms, to the plush beds, chandeliers everywhere, and did I mention the Gucci store inside the hotel? Not one stone was left untuned when it came to decorating this hotel – everything you could possibly need was at your fingertips at all times, and presented in the most luxurious way possible!

Speaking of luxury, you must venture up to the fourth floor, if not to pay a visit to the serene spa, then to take a dip in the rooftop pool! Outside on the patio, you get the best view of downtown Charleston below. With such a central location, there’s not anything that’s out of reach at the Belmond. Between the amazing room, views of downtown, courteous staff, delicious food and refreshing drinks, and stunning decor, I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. It was one of the best stays I’ve ever had!

Check back on Monday for even more and part two of my girls getaway weekend at Belmond Charleston Place!
