I’m so excited to be bringing you day two of my festival inspired looks with Anthropologie in Durham! Yesterday’s sweet white dress look was certainly a favorite, but there are so many other options to explore to embrace your inner bohemian! But which way to go? Romper, jumpsuit, mini skirt and crop top? The possibilities are endless!
If there’s one style I’ve always questioned whether or not I could pull off, it’s definitely the maxi dress. While I’m not really petite (I’m 5’4″), I’m not tall and lanky either. Therefore, anything baggy that completely consumes me, might make me look even shorter and stumpier than I am. I’ve tried on style after style, and never been convinced that they looked quite right. The waist was either too high, or the bottom dragging all over the floor.
That was until I tried this floral dress from Anthropologie. Isn’t it just magical? And how perfect for festival season! The movement in it is amazing – I love how the wind catches it and it takes off up into the air. The waist cinches in just perfectly and the uneven hemline makes this dress perfect for Coachella! I ran around on the beach in it and didn’t trip over it once – the perfect fuss-free, yet elegant dress for dancing your heart out at festivals! I felt like a complete goddess in this dress and couldn’t dream up a more perfect maxi.
