As I begin experimenting with more and more trends, I’ve noticed a continuous pattern – I tend to go just a little overboard. I find one new trend that I absolutely love, and I can’t stop! It’s like binging, but with a specific look. I’ve gone through it with lace, pale pink, and now: bow tie blouses.
Ever since I spotted them all over NYFW for spring/summer 2016, I can’t get them out of my head! Blouses aren’t the same “boring-wear-to-work” pieces that they used to be. The neck tie adds the perfect touch of femininity and sophistication. It’s so chic! Ever since I got this one in the mail – it’s the only one I’ve wanted to wear. Shhh.. don’t tell my other blouses!
Per usual, I’ve already started exploring options of how to grow this trend in my wardrobe. I’ve been experimenting with adding bow ties to everything (like with this look here), and love how a bow tied blouse looks under a dress or jumper.
